Toronto Maple Leafs

Should You Be Concerned About the Leafs?

The Leafs have blown a lead in five of their last eleven games in the month of January. Lately, they have been struggling to hold leads. While playing two games a week is a deciding factor, they are also playing powerhouse teams such as Colorado Avalanche, Vegas Golden Knights, St. Louis Blues, and New York Rangers. Except straight out losing to the Coyotes, the Leafs have played well this month, having a record of 8-2-1.

With the All-Star break just around the corner, the Leafs have a couple of days of rest until the games start to pile up. The Leafs play eleven more games this February and are off to a good start with a 7-1 win over the New Jersey Devils this past week.

Now, should you be concerned about the Leafs?

Even though the Leafs have been blowing leads this past month they have still found a way to win those games whether in overtime or in a shootout. That is what good teams do.

So don’t be concerned about the Leafs until after the All-Star break when they are playing three or four games a week.
